This article will be about the huge homeless population in the city of Exeter. Every day, I see people in the city center begging for change, so I became interested in learning what the city was doing to help these people.
The community need I learned about was helping the huge amount of homeless people in the city of Exeter.
I talked to different people in the city, and I learned that the city of Exeter has the second largest homeless population out of all of the cities in England, with London having the largest population.
The needs of many homeless people are being met by different organizations. Some of these organizations are St. Petrock, Community Housing Aid and The Streets Homeless Outreach Team. I learned that these organizations are helping people find food, jobs and a place to live. They provide a support system for the homeless and make sure that they can move forward in life.
